From Goodreads:
Fleeing a dishonorable
man, Margaret abandons her pampered upper-class world for an anonymous
life "below stairs." But will danger or love find her first?
My Thoughts:
Julie Klassen does it again...she writes another excellent book. :) In The Maid of Fairbourne Hall we meet Margaret who lives a very nice life in the upper crust of society. But things at home aren't as nice as she'd like and she must flee and disguise herself as well. She's ends up at Fairbourne Hall as a maid! It was interesting to see Margaret realize how much servant actually do...she took so much for granted. Besides Margaret learning how to be a good servant and stay in disguise some surprising developments begin to happen at Fairbourne Hall. A little romance, perhaps?? If you enjoy Regency romances then I highly recommend this book. Julie Klassen is an amazing author and you really can't go wrong with any of her books.
**I bought this book on Amazon..it was worth every penny ;) **

A Little Update
I know I've been pretty quiet here on my blog. I still haven't gotten much reading done. At the moment I'm reading The Maid of Fairbourne Hall by Julie Klassen and loving it. Big surprise since I love every one of her books. :) According to my kindle I'm 75% into it so I should be finished with it in a week. Yeah, I'm a real slow reader now even when I'm enjoying a book. Once I finish it I will post a little review for y'all.
What I've really been doing in my down time is knitting hexipuffs and I am so happy to say that I have completed one month of knitting hexipuffs. I actually knit one per day and took a picture every day too. So I'm right on track with that! :) Here's one of the pictures I took with my hexipuff (well, unpuff):
If I keep it up I should have enough little hexis to make myself a blanket. How exciting is that? Well, it is to me. ;)
